Pumpkin Moon opens Maze Moon fields in Rainham, Maidstone and Faversham and the sunflower fields are back in Kent too
Acres of the Kent countryside have been transformed into three giant mazes now open for the holidays.
Instagrammers and fashion photographers were among the visitors to the maize mazes and sunflower fields run by Maze Moon last year, with this year's three sites expected to be just as popular.
Farm manager James Kemley, who is also responsible for Kent's autumnal pumpkin picking fields Pumpkin Moon, has been tending to the three mazes since Halloween in readiness for this year's school holiday visitors.
Using unique GPS technology and hundreds of thousands of seeds, the mazes in Rainham, Maidstone and at a new location in Perry Court, Faversham, are all between eight and 10 acres in size and have their own unique shape which can be seen from the air.
On the Lower Rainham Road in Medway - paying homage to the field's primary use as a pumpkin patch - is a maze shaped like a witch flying on her broom.
Over in Sandling, Maidstone the attraction has been grown in the shape of a giant sunflower, to reflect the popular sunflower fields that staff also tend to on the site and are open to visitors for photographers and for picking.
And in Faversham it is a Minions-style movie themed maze welcoming explorers and comes complete with its own banana trail game too.
All three fields opened as school's broke for the summer holiday and so far, says James, it's been a big thumbs up from the first visitors.
He said: "The feedback has been really good, which is really reassuring."
Those wishing to take on a maize maze or pay a visit to sunflower fields, which are next to the mazes in Maidstone and Rainham but not in Faversham, must book in advance, to allow staff to monitor visitor and staff numbers.
There are ice cream and coffee vans at each maze, alongside picnic areas, to enable families to stay longer in the outdoors should the weather be nice.
