Wingham Wildlife Park has a new orangutan enclosure

See the Orangutans' new Canopy Trail, Wingham Wildlife Park

Open seven days a week, 10am to 4pm during winter

A wildlife park's orangutans now have the best view of the park thanks to an addition to their new enclosure.

The canopy trail is a connecting corridor between the indoor and outdoor areas of the Orangutan habitat and the view from the canopy is said to be incredible. From their new height the creatures overlook acres of orchards in every direction, the whole of the park, traffic in the distance, birds of prey which hunt in meadows beyond the orchards and more. And they can do all this from the same position they would in their native Borneo - from over 5m high!
