Prime drink goes viral on TikTok at Herne Bay's KM Convenience Store
A shop selling the popular Prime drink is gaining a huge social media following - with some people even travelling hundreds of miles just to get their hands on a bottle.
The KM Convenience Store in Herne Bay has more than 25,000 likes on TikTok after sharing videos showcasing that it has the product in stock.
The business has shown off the range which is taking the country by storm, with one clip gaining 100,000 views.
With more than 2,500 followers, the shop owners post regular updates of their stock levels of the drink, which has become a sensation through social media.
Calling themselves, "the best shop in Kent", happy customers with their bottle of Prime have been involved in videos too.
One TikTok clip which sees three youngsters each with a bottle of Prime passed the 100,000 mark and others shared to the page are into the thousands of views.
"Come to Km Convenience to get your Prime, it's the best shop in Kent, bosh," the boys say in unison.
Another video show from a group who have travelled over three-and-a-half hours from Derby – a 400-mile round trip – to bag a bottle of Prime from the Herne Bay store.
The drink became popular after YouTube stars and influencers Logan Paul and KSI founded the Prime Hydration brand.
It contains 10% coconut water and also has electrolytes as well as vitamins and antioxidants, the company says.
Earlier this month the celebrities confirmed they will be introducing a new range to supermarket shelves called Prime Energy, which contains 200mg of caffeine - double the amount of a mug of instant coffee, according to the NHS.
The drinks have become so popular that finding them can often be a challenge and some have even sold bottles on the internet for hundreds, despite being sold at £2 each in Asda, Aldi or on the official website.
However, the popularity has seen prices rise with one shop in Wakefield, Yorkshire selling them at £100 per bottle.
The videos at KM Convenience Store says a bottle will set customers back between £8-£10 and yesterday announced it has all eight flavours in stock.
Prime's eight flavours are: meta moon, ice pop, blue raspberry, tropical punch, lemon lime, grape, orange, and strawberry watermelon flavour.
