This free family fun day celebrates all things pedal powered. See awe inspiring bike-based feats, including the unique spectacle of Bicycle Ballet's Strictly Cycling. Families can even pedal their own smoothie or have a go in one of the many wacky races.

This family event hosts the largest collection of classic aircraft and military vehicles around. It will be full of vintage and modern aircraft displays, on the ground and in the air. Military vehicles, living history re-enactment groups, arena events, military stalls and children's mini tanks all add up to to make this a perfect day out.

Take all the family along to a spectacular display including the Red Arrows, the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight which includes the Spitfire, Hurricane, the much sought-after Lancaster Bomber, and the jaw-dropping Eurofighter Typhoon. Kids can have loads of fun performing the stories of legends of kings and queens and other historical heroes with a little help from professional actors. Other events on the day include having go at circus skills including stilts, juggling, hula-hoops, diablos and spinning plates. There will also be displays and performances from popular legends like Robin Hood and Henry VIII.

Mote Park open air theatre presents Four Little Rabbits and Shakespeare's The Tempest

Mote Park is hosting an open-air theatre event for all the family featuring a Beatrix Potter play and a Shakespeare classic. Beatrix Potter's original tales are brought to life in this adaption by Michael Whitmore at 3pm at the park. In the evening, Quantum Theatre presents Shakespeare's final masterpiece, The Tempest, a magical tale of love and sorcery, dark hearts and treachery.
