Camp Bestival in Dorset adds Instagram hits Clemmie and Simon Hooper from Thanet to its line-up

They have been described as 'the most well-known parents on Instagram' and now husband and wife Simon and Clemmie Hooper from Kent are joining the line-up of one of the country's biggest family festivals.

Camp Bestival takes place at Lulworth Castle in Dorset and attracts thousands and thousands of families to the three-day long event each year.

Alongside a raft of attractions, theatre shows, live acts, talks and comedy performances aimed at both adults and their offspring, headline music acts this year include Jess Glynne, Nile Rogers and Chic and DJ Annie Mac.

But among other names on the bill this year are Thanet couple Simon and Clemmie Hooper - known on Instagram as Mother of Daughters and Father of Daughters where they have more than 1.5 million followers combined.

The parents to daughters - Anya, Marnie and three-year-old identical twins Ottilie and Delilah - will be hosting a DJ set in the famous Bollywood Tent, playing their favourite tracks and challenging each other as families dance the afternoon away.

The Hoopers are part of a new and recently-announced part of the festival called the Parenting Programme - which aims to bring together some of the county's most well known and popular parents from the world of social media.

The programme will be offering everything from advice on single parenting, crafting with youngsters, talks and podcasts on maintaining relationships after children and head to head DJ sets.

Camp Bestival curator Rob da Bank said: "Nearly everyone who comes to Camp, who isn’t a child, is a parent so there’s a lot of us and a lot to learn! But this isn’t some fuddy-duddy university of boring. These are the hottest potatoes in the parenting oven - funny, irreverent, stylish and occasionally musical.

"From Mother of Daughters vs. Father of Daughters DJ Set, to Clemmie Telford’s Lists Live and the amazing Pizzup we wanted to recruit the finest from the Instagram parenting community to help bring their stories and experiences to the festival."
