Mars issues recall notice for Revels packets over safety fears

Mars is recalling a range of its Revels chocolates over fears they may contain small pieces of rubber.

The confectioner, together with the Food Standards Agency, has issued a safety recall alert for three different Revels products that are unsafe to eat.

The Revels being recalled include the ‘More to Share’ bags and treat size packets.

Affected Revels More to Share bags weigh 205g and will have best before dates of October 27, 2024 and November 3 and November 10, 2024.

Revels pouches also affected by the ‘do not eat’ warning and these weigh 112g and will have the same best before dates as the More to Share bags.

The treat bags being recalled by Mars, also have best before dates of October 27, November 3 and November 10, 2024, and these bags weigh 71g.

Anyone with a packet of Revels at home affected by the safety recall should not eat it the chocolate inside and instead contact the Mars customer care team to arrange a refund on its freephone number 0800 952 0084.

The recall notice from Mars explains: “This precautionary recall has been initiated with the best interests of our consumers at heart.

“We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused.”
