Families applying to Kent County Council for a primary school place in Kent can apply for up to three schools - putting them in order of preference.

Applicants, despite having a preferred place, are encouraged to list three different schools as naming one school only does not guarantee a child a place or give any priority over another child and neither does naming a school more than once in an application.

While applications can be submitted from Monday, November 5, families have until January to look around the schools they are interested in and complete the online forms as the process does not close until midnight on Tuesday, January 15.

In Medway - applications are already open, with forms having been made available since September. The deadline for Medway Council applications is also Tuesday, January 15 at 5pm.
