Toys R Us reveal 2016's must-have Christmas toys
From a robotic dog to a SelfieMic, one major toy retailer has revealed what it believes might be top of children's letters to Santa this year.
Toys R Us has released a list of 14 toys which it is confident will be flying from its shelves over the next few months.
And in a battle between technology and the traditional there are some old favourites and dogs with new tricks - literally - in the running.
Familiar names - or brands - including LEGO, Furbys and Shopkins all make the hot-property list.
But there are some new arrivals in the form of CHiP the robot dog, which can be trained to respond to voice commands and a selfie stick and microphone which continues to embrace people's love for taking a photograph of themselves and their friends.
The Pie Face game, a popular toy from last year, reappears this year with a Minions version.
And another Thomas the Tank Engine track system as well as more Paw Patrol toys are also both in the run-in as they continue to impress the toddlers and pre-schoolers.
