Harry Potter and the Cursed Child to enjoy late night launch at Bluewater

A bookstore is holding a late night launch party to mark the latest Harry Potter book release.

The arrival of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will be celebrated at Waterstones in Bluewater with an event from 10pm on Saturday, July 30.

The party, to celebrate Harry Potter's birthday and the release of the eighth installment from the wizarding world, which this time comes as a script book to accompany a new West End play and follows Harry has he contends with being an employee of the Ministry of Magic, a husband and father of three children.

The event at Waterstones in the Greenhithe centre's West Village, will include, games, activities, competition and the promise of 'lots of treats'.

Guests are being encouraged to come in fancy dress with the best costume being awarded a special prize.

No purchase of the book is necessary to attend the party, says the bookshop, however, any party-goers wishing to purchase a copy of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, due to Sunday trading laws must have pre-paid for a copybefore 12am on Sunday, July 31.

Transactions can't be processed after this time and after all the fun of the party copies can be collected once the clock strikes midnight.
