KentOnline offer: Get free kids’ tickets to Howletts Wild Animal Park, near Canterbury, this October half-term

Families looking for a spooktacular day out this October half-term can snap up free kids’ tickets to one of the county’s biggest wildlife parks.

This exclusive offer will give visitors under 15 free entry to Howletts Wild Animal Park in Bekesbourne, near Canterbury, from Saturday, October 18 to Sunday, November 2.

During the Halloween season, families can enjoy a ghostly activity trail through the park, creepy crawly encounters and a daring reach into the Fright Box to see what critters lurk inside.

There will also be autumnal treats, such as pumpkin lattes and Halloween-themed snacks, in the cafes and catering huts.

The park is home to more than 390 rare and endangered animals, including the UK’s largest herd of African elephants, Kent’s only giant anteaters and more gorillas and their new babies than any other zoo in the country.

There are also daily ranger talks and feedings, animal encounters, outdoor play areas and the Animals of the Ice Age trail.

Tickets are limited and often sell out, so you’ll need to be quick to get your hands on this exclusive offer. Tickets are available from Saturday, October 18 to Sunday, November 2.
