Christmas at Leeds Castle 2025 light trail set to be ‘most immersive’ in the event’s history

Organisers of a sparkling festive light trail are describing this year’s event as “the most immersive in its history”.

The Christmas at Leeds Castle experience, which takes place at the historic attraction just outside of Maidstone, will be transformed into a glittering after-dark grotto with more interactive moments than ever before.

The trail has been running since 2022 and is put together by the same team behind the Christmas at Bedgebury trail in Goudhurst.

This year, visitors to Leeds Castle can admire stunning new installations, including the Peacock Promenade walkway made from eight giant UV-lit feathers.

There’s also the new Ribbon Tunnel, which features 500 six-foot hanging ribbons, and the Gladioli Walk with 16 flower-filled tunnels that immerse guests in light and colour.

There will also be returning favourites, such as the Christmas Cathedral, as well as seasonal sounds played around the castle grounds and a children’s fairground.

The light trail opens on Friday, November 21 and runs until New Year’s Eve. You can book tickets online here.

Adult tickets start from £18 and child tickets start from £13, with prices increasing during peak dates and times.
