What to expect at the Biddenden Tractorfest, near Ashford, this summer
Crowds will be immersing themselves in Kent’s agricultural history with the return of a rural farm festival.
Biddenden Tractorfest, which has been celebrating the county’s farming industry for more than a decade, will be back with hundreds of heritage vehicles.
The weekender will once again be at Holden Farm, near Ashford, for two days and, as the name suggests, tractors are still at the forefront of this long-running summer event.
There will be more than 300 working and vintage tractors on display, alongside steam engines, horticultural machinery, classic cars and emergency vehicles.
There’s also an arena where visitors can see falconry, sheep and dog shows and exhibitions from craftmakers on everything from chainsaw carving to wood turning.
The farming festival boasts a range of children’s entertainment, archery, miniature railway, funfair rides, face painting, circus workshops, axe-throwing and live music on the Trailer Stage.
When it’s time for a break, the food and drink stalls from local vendors will be serving up global cuisine, artisan produce and refreshing drinks.
Biddenden Tractorfest will be at Holden Farm in Biddenden, near Ashford, on Saturday, August 16 and Sunday, August 17. You can book tickets online here.
Day tickets cost £14 for adults. There will be a capacity limit operating this year and tickets must be purchased in advance. No tickets will be available on the gate.
