The fairground, which can be found outside The Village, near the centre’s Zizzi restaurant, is an outdoor experience that boasts a range of family rides, including the waltzers, bumper cars, swings and a miniature roller coaster.

In the middle of it all, the huge Observation Wheel will take centre stage with its unique and colourful light show and panoramic views over Bluewater and the surrounding area.

The attraction has been shipped over from Holland and is the UK’s first ride to have a state-of-the-art LED show displayed on the structure itself.

The attraction costs £3 to enter, with ride tokens costing an additional fee. Picture: UMPF

There will also be sideshows with games such as hook-a-duck, ring toss, and cork guns.

The area will also have rows of food and drink stalls set up for visitors to stop off and enjoy hot snacks, winter warmers and sweet treats.

The menu includes burgers, doughnuts, churros, Dutch pancakes, waffles and toasted marshmallows.

The bars will be serving alcoholic beverages, such as mulled wine and cider, and there will also be soft drinks available.

Winterland is open on select dates from Saturday, November 8 to Sunday, January 11 2026. You can book online here.

Entry costs £3 per person. Ride tokens can be purchased individually for £1.20 or 25 tokens for £20 when booking in advance online. Rides range from two to six tokens.
