You'll be hooked on this year's panto!
An ex-EastEnders star and children’s TV favourite are among the celebrities performing in this year’s Marlowe panto.
The cast of Peter Pan, coming to the Canterbury theatre in November, includes Shaun Williamson – best known for playing Barry Evans in the hit BBC soap – and Gemma Hunt from Cbeebies’ Swashbuckle.
Also in the line-up is Coronation Street star Wendi Peters and Canterbury favourites Ben Roddy and Lloyd Hollett.
David Ribi, who has just become main presenter on Channel 5’s Milkshake, will play Peter Pan and Samantha Dorrance, from CBeebies’ The Tale of Mister Tumble, is Wendy.
Jo Osmond, from Dr Who and Maleficent, plays Tinkerbell.
Peter Pan writer, producer and director Paul Hendy says the cast will appeal to lots of people.
He said: “We pride ourselves in giving Marlowe audiences a true family pantomime, and this has never been more true.
“We have someone for everyone of all ages, and, of course, we have real talent.
“The cast is very strong and will give another ‘wow’ production, as well as continuing the Marlowe quality brand.”
Peter Pan, sponsored by Lipscomb Volvo and Whitefriars, will run from Friday, November 24, to Sunday, January 14.
