Hever Festival Theatre returns to Hever Castle for 2019 and you could win tickets

A magical programme of outdoor theatre is returning to Hever Castle this summer - and you could be there for free thanks to My Kent Family.

Hever Festival Theatre will be bigger, better and longer than ever before when the programme of vibrant and varied open-air performances launches on May 4.

Highlights for families this year include Elmer the Elephant, Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves, Alice in Wonderland, Horrible Histories and the Wimpy Kid Show.

Performances begin at the beginning of May and run until the end of August. They take place in the award-winning gardens of Hever Castle which is the childhood home of Anne Boleyn.

This year for the first time, a discounted theatre and castle gardens joint ticket is also available to buy in advance to enable theatre-goers to make a day of it and visit the castle gardens before their chosen show.

To celebrate Hever Festival Theatre's return this spring My Kent Family has teamed up with organisers to giveaway two sets of tickets to Illyria Theatre's family-friendly show Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves.

Adapted from the classic book One Thousand and One Nights (otherwise known as the Arabian Nights), the performance lasts for 1 hour and 40 minutes (including a 20 minute interval).

Entering the competition is easy and each ticket enables a family of four to see magical live theatre in some of Kent's most picturesque surroundings.
