Kent Life Ice Cream Festival

by Lauren Abbott

Ice cream in all its glory will be celebrated this Bank Holiday Monday when a hugely popular food festival returns to a Kent attraction.

Ice cream vendors, chocolatiers and sweet stalls galore will be rolling up at Kent Life in Sandling on August 28 for the second year of its Ice Cream Festival.

Among them will be Kent’s Simply Ice Cream, an ice cream which is handmade in small batches from local ingredients, and Kelly’s of Cornwall, well known for its clotted cream range.

You will be able to sit down with your favourite flavour to enjoy the music of The Boogie Woogie Gals – a 1940s style close-harmony vocal group as well as enjoying all of Kent Life's favourite activities from the Cuddle Corner to outdoor and indoor play areas and the Vintage Village.

The attraction is also a real working farm, set in 28 acres of Kent countryside, so there are plenty of animals to see, including pigs, sheep, ducks, goats, alpacas, horses and ponies.

Admission is £9.95 for adults and £7.95 for children aged three to 15. For a discount book your tickets online in advance.
