Isle Fest in Sheerness to welcome Abba, Little Mix, Taylor Swift and Robbie Williams tribute acts

by My Kent Family reporter

Some of the UK's biggest and best tribute acts are to perform at a family music festival in Kent.

Tickets are now on sale to see Little Mix, Abba, Robbie Williams, Taylor Swift and Olly Murs top the bill for families on the second day of Isle Fest, which is taking place over the Spring Bank Holiday in May.

The two-day event in Sheerness involves an adult-only Saturday featuring Oasis tribute Definitely Mightbe and Stone Roses tribute Adored before a family-friendly Sunday event closes the festival.

There will also be food outlets, stalls, face painters, glitter tattoos, funfair rides and attractions at the event on Saturday, May 25 and Sunday, May 26.

Community groups can also have their own pitch.

Islander Paul Rogers, who works for LaytonDings Entertainments, said: "We book top acts onto cruise ships, holiday parks and organise festivals all over the UK but somehow Sheppey always gets left out. So we thought it was time the Island had something of its own to shout about.

"It will be a significant investment from our company. It really is the full festival experience with festival stage with the very best sound and lighting from our supply team at Triple A Events in Sittingbourne.”

For Abba fans - or younger fans of the more recent Mamma Mia blockbuster films - will be Abba Magic live on stage.

The group, which have appeared on BBC One's The One Show, will be joined on Sunday's line up by LMX (Little Mix), Busy Being Olly (Olly Murs), So Taylor (Taylor Swift) and Maximum Robbie (Robbie Williams) at Sheppey Sports Club in Halfway.
