1 Winter Trail, Shorne Woods Country Park

Saturday, January 5 and Sunday, January 6

Explore the north Kent woodland thanks to this self-led activity just ideal for all the family. Pull on the wellies and collect a trail sheet from the visitor centre any time between 10am and 3pm. All completed trails will receive a small prize.

2 Ice skating at Bluewater

Saturday, January 6 and Sunday, January 6

If you're still clinging onto the festive season this is the last weekend to enjoy Bluewater's ice rink.

The undercover outdoor rink closes on Sunday. Perfect for all the family to enjoy, there are seal shaped skating aids for kids, bob skates for those who need to be steady on the ice and skate lessons for anyone hoping to whirl, glide, skate and slide around the huge sparkling Christmas tree. 3 Jack & The Beanstalk, EM Forster Theatre, Tonbridge

Join Jack on the adventure of a lifetime in this family show. There are five showings this weekend of the pantomime before it closes.

4 Cinderella, The Marlowe Theatre

If you've not yet grabbed a ticket to the ball now is your last chance! Cinderella at The Marlowe Theatre is enjoying its final shows at the Canterbury venue this weekend.

The popular panto, which has been a big hit with families this year, still has some tickets available. Grab yours here.

5 Betteshanger Junior Park Run

Sunday, January 6 at 9am

The country park near Deal welcomes back its junior park runners this Sunday. Betteshanger junior parkrun is a free 2k run for juniors aged four to 14 and is held every Sunday.

Runners need to register before their first run and bring a printed copy of their barcode.
