The Snowman at the Marlowe Theatre

The acclaimed stage version of the classic story The Snowman is coming to Kent in the New Year.

The Marlowe Theatre in Canterbury has announced the arrival of the enchanting show which tells the story of a young boy’s adventures when his snowman comes miraculously to life on Christmas Eve.

Featuring an array of colourful characters, including dancing penguins, reindeer, a snow princess, her wicked beau Jack Frost and of course, Father Christmas, The Snowman is described as 'a treat for all the family and a perfect introduction to dance for the very young'.

The Birmingham Repertory Theatre production features music and lyrics by Howard Blake performed by a live orchestra.

The Snowman is at The Marlowe Theatre from Wednesday January 18 to Sunday January 22.
