Horrible Histories live on stage at The Marlowe Theatre, Canterbury

Amazing 3D special effects will be used to bring historical events to life when Horrible Histories arrives on stage.

The plights of the Terrible Tudors and Awful Egyptians will be laid bare when the two shows come to The Marlowe Theatre in Canterbury.

Using actors and ground breaking special effects the popular children's programme is moving from the screen to the big stage and is set to enthral young audiences.

In Terrible Turdors find out about Henry's headless wives, meet Bloody Mary and see Ed fall dead in his bed. You might event survive the Spanish Armada when it sails into the audience!

Whilst among the Awful Egyptians will be tales of fascinating Pharoahs and the power of pyramids and you can discover the foul facts of death and decay with the meanest mummies! It’s all billed as the history of Egypt with the nasty bits left in!

Horrible Histories is at The Marlowe Theatre during half term from Thursday, May 30 until Sunday, June 2.

Terrible Tudors will have 10.30am showings on Thursday and Saturday, Friday at 7pm and Sunday at 1.30pm. The show lasts one hour and 45 minutes.

Awful Egyptians is running on Thursday at 1.30pm. Friday and Sunday at 10.30am and Saturday at 1.30pm and lasts one hour and 35 minutes.
