Bluewater Christmas Lights switch-on

A Kent shopping centre has revealed plans for one of the biggest nights in its events calendar.

Bluewater Shopping Centre will hold its annual free fireworks display on Thursday, November 10 to celebrate the switch-on of the centre's Christmas lights.

Light Night will include special guests presenter Toby Anstis, Paddington and of course the man of the moment - Father Christmas - who will all appear on stage before the dazzling firework display which is free to attend.

The event will take place once again in the car park of M&S.

Gates open to the event at 5pm and the fireworks will begin at 6.30pm.

Thousands of people are expected to attend the event which is always popular with families and signals the start of Bluewater's Christmas celebrations and its extended Christmas shopping opening hours.
