Things to do this weekend in Kent - February 22 and February 23
It's the final weekend of the half term holiday. See out the final few days in style with one of these top family activities.

1. Gulp! A Watery Adventure, The Marlowe Studio, Canterbury
Friday, February 21 and Saturday, February 22
Gulp! is an interactive story dripping with fun and watery surprises. Following a child’s natural curiosity to find out and understand more about the world it’s also a story about the beauty and challenges of water in an age of oil, plastic and climate change.
On-stage there's a paddling pool of water, you can help make the show's soundtrack with live beatboxing and watery sound effects and watch out for the water pistol fight! The show is suitable for children aged seven and above. Book your tickets here.
2. Kids Go Free at Howletts and Port Lympne
Running until February 29
The extremely popular offer at Howletts and Port Lympne allows you to take up to three children for free with every full paying adult until the end of this month. Bookings do need to be made in advance online before visiting, but the offer has been exceptionally popular on some days, so it is advisable to check with your chosen park and book well in advance if you're planning a visit using the deal!
3. Comics: Explore and Create Comic Art, The Beaney, Canterbury
Running until Sunday, February 23
It's the final weekend of the comic book exhibition at The Beaney in Canterbury.
Discover an eclectic mix of both original and iconic comic art, alongside work by current children's comic creators. There are also playful props and costumes to allow visitors to create their own comic book characters. Tickets can be booked in advance and start at £6.50 for adults and children aged three to 15 are £5.
4. February half term events with the National Trust, county-wide
Until Sunday, February 23
From places to play wild to wildlife trails, Kent's National Trust properties have a raft of events taking place until Sunday to encourage families outside whatever the weather.

5. Kids For A Quid, Spa Valley Railway, Tunbridge Wells
Saturday, February 22 and Sunday, February 23

6. Mission: Explore, The Historic Dockyard, Chatham

It's the final weekend mission of the half term holidays and the dockyard is once again on the look out for young spies to recruit!
Get hands on with spy craft sessions (pre-booking advised), climb aboard HMS Ocelot a real-life spy submarine and enjoy both indoor and outdoor trails to ensure the weather never foils a mission!

7. Half Term Explorers, Leeds Castle
Running until Sunday, February 23
Become a first-class junior explorer in the grounds of Leeds Castle this weekend. The outdoor adventure trail will guide you through the grounds and if you can complete the various puzzles and challenges you will be rewarded with a chocolate prize! Start your adventure through the Princess Alexandra Gardens before conquering the Maze and completing a quiz in the birds of prey area.
