Canterbury Tales launches Magical Medieval Christmas with Santa

An exciting time travelling adventure is on offer for children wishing to meet Santa.

Following the enormous success of last year's event The Canterbury Tales is bringing back a Magical Medieval Christmas.

The event will take place for two days this year - on December 15 and 16.

Father Christmas has been transported back to the Middle Ages and only budding young adventurers can save him and bring him back to 2018.

Families will be guided through a series of festive activities on the medieval streets of The Canterbury Tales visitor attraction to bring Santa back to the present day and there will be songs, games and dressing up too0.

The journey ends with a visit to Santa's grotto and a gift for every child.

The experience has been created and written by Callum Donnelly, whose credits include Cbeebies favourites Spotbots and Justin’s House.

The experience lasts around 45 minutes and on these two days The Canterbury Tales visitor attraction will not be running its usual tours.
