Simple Simon in the New Adventures of Robin Hood Margate Winter Gardens

Children’s favourite Simple Simon is back for a one-off half-term show. He will be at Margate Winter Gardens with an new story featuring the nasty Sheriff of Nottingham plotting trying to lure Robin Hood into a trap. The panto-style show is full of song and comedy, with lots of joining in. Doors open at 2pm for curtain-up at 2.30pm and the performance finishes by 4.30pm. Tickets are £7.50, with a family of four ticket for £28.

Take the kids to see the all new Lego Batman film to end half term on a high. To celebrate its release, Lockmeadow, Maidstone, is holding free Batman mask workshops on Wednesday 15, Thursday 16 and Friday 17 from 1pm until 5pm daily.

180 year of Scotney Scotney Castle, Lamberhurst

To celebrate the 180 year anniversary of the first stone being laid at Scotney activities will run daily from 10 am to 4pm. Families can complete a spot the difference of the house then and now or follow in the footsteps of Edward Hussey III and design their dream house. For outdoor fun, the Badger & Pepper play area should be reopening this weekend.

Get some fresh air this weekend and discover the National Trust's Knole Park. Families can explore the woodland and learn more about the trees in a guided walk at 2pm on Saturday, February 18. If you would rather go it alone, take a family-friendly woodland ramble around the edges of the park to spot the famous seven oaks.
