Room on the Broom flies into Dartford's Orchard Theatre

A magical adaptation of Room on the Broom flies into a Kent theatre next week.

Witch and her cat will be on a mission to defeat the dragon in the Tall Stories' musical adaptation coming to Dartford's Orchard Theatre.

The classic picture book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler is extremely popular with young families.

It follows Witch and her cat who are travelling on their broomstick when they pick up some hitch-hikers - a friendly dog, a beautiful green bird and a crazy frog. But the witch's broomstick is not meant for five and it snaps in two just as the hungry dragon appears!

There will be performances of Room on the Broom on both Monday, March 25 and Tuesday, March 26 with three shows on Monday and two on Tuesday.

Songs, laughs and scary fun for children aged 3 and up are all promised in the Olivier-nominated show, which lasts for one hour.
