GraVity trampoline park to open at Bluewater

A trampoline park brand is to open its flagship site at a shopping centre in Kent.

GraVity will open a 25,000sq ft play area at Bluewater this autumn.

Founded by Harvey Jenkinson and Michael Harrison in 2014, its first trampoline park launched in February 2015 in Yorkshire.

Since then GraVity has opened three more sites - including one at Lockmeadow in Maidstone - and it plans to add another four after announcing it attracted a £5 million investment from Guinness Asset Management earlier this month.

It follows the recent launch of other trampoline parks in Chatham, Gillingham, Ashford, Tunbridge Wells and Tonbridge.

Harvey Jenkinson, co-founder and chief executive of GraVity said: “Bluewater is renowned as one of the UK’s premier destinations for retail and leisure, making it the ideal location for our latest trampoline park.

“The impressive footfall, diverse catchment and complete day-out offering make it the perfect launch-pad for our expansion.

“This will be our flagship location nationally, enabling us to further establish ourselves as the number one, premium trampoline operator in the UK.”

Bluewater's Rob Hardie said: “GraVity adds to our already popular range of leisure activities including the Showcase cinema, which is currently being upgraded to a 17-screen Cinema de Lux.”

The park is set to open in the former Glow exhibition area at Bluewater in October.
