Singer HRVY to be special guest at Olly Murs' gig at the Hop Farm in September
Singer HRVY is set to join Olly Murs as a special guest at his gig in Kent.
The pop star from Hartley will join Olly at his show at the Hop Farm in Beltring, Paddock Wood.
The gig on Saturday, September 18, is the first of two concerts taking place at the Hop Farm over this weekend, with Tom Jones performing the following day on Sunday, September 19.
At 22, HRVY has had more than 800 million Spotify streams; has collaborated with international stars such as Jonas Blue and NCT Dream and has played at BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend as well as making it to the final of Strictly Come Dancing, partnering Janette Manrara.
The singer, who released his debut single Thank You at the age of 15, said: “When I was younger I was so confident,” he laughs. “I'd walk into the room, or it would be outside at family BBQs, and I'd be up singing to everybody. I loved performing.”
A former student at the Leigh Academy in Dartford, added: “I’m buzzing to be joining Olly Murs in Kent this summer. Having grown up in Kent, getting on stage with a legend like Olly Murs was what dreams were made of. "Hopefully I’ll have a few friends who will pop along to support me.”
