Santus Circus shows in Whitstable between August 20 and bank holiday Monday with ticket discounts for NHS staff

A popular family-run travelling circus is back on the road in Kent with tens of shows planned to see out the summer.

Performers at Santus Circus have endured a stressful time in lockdown after its co-owner was seriously injured after being struck by a car.

But the circus is now 'fighting back' and has re-started shows for the remainder of the summer break.

The circus show, which includes a host of daredevil acts began its fresh tour in Sheerness, which concludes on Sunday, August 17.

Troups will then move into Whitstable for the rest of the school break with shows between Thursday, August 20 and bank holiday Monday, August 31.
