Events in Kent this weekend, November 17 and November 18
With little over a month to go until Christmas, Kent's calendar is packed full of events.
Alongside Christmas lights switch ons, there are fetes, festivals, fairs and exhibitions.
We've picked seven from across the county, lots of them with a festive feel, that you could enjoy with the kids this weekend:
Christmas Arts and Crafts Fair, Cuxton Scout Hall, Bush Road
Saturday, November 17
A raft of Christmas gifts and family-friendly stalls will welcome visitors to this event running from 11am until 3pm.
Books, floral decorations, candles, hair braiding and glitter tattoos, woodcraft gifts, paintings, stocking fillers, handmade advent calendars, wooden reindeers, photograph, and homemade cards will all be amongst the items available to purchase.
And if that's not enough - tea, coffee, hot chocolate, cakes, sweets and roasted chestnuts will also be on sale to keep Christmas shoppers refreshed!
Festive Family Fun Day, Ashford
Saturday, November 17
Meet The Snowman and his Snowdog, watch Father Christmas in the parade at noon from Bank Street, enjoy live music from the bandstand and find the Christmas craft market in Park Mall. There will also be games, street entertainers, music from the Salvation Army and refreshments! The events are all part of Ashford's annual festive event perfect for families. Christmas Market, Broadditch Farm Shop, Southfleet
Saturday, November 17
An authentic Christmas market can be found within the Christmas barn at Broadditch this Saturday. A wonderland of decorations, festive lights and unusual gifts will be found behind its doors, which open at 10am.

Model railway exhibition, Broadstairs
Saturday, November 17 and Sunday, November 18
Isle of Thanet Railway Society is holding its latest exhibition this weekend from 10am until 5pm on the Saturday and 10am until 4pm on Sunday.
There will be more than 15 layouts and 15 trade stands as part of the event in St George's School, Westwood Road, Broadstairs. Entry is £4.50 for an adult - children aged three to 15 who are accompanies by a paying adult are free.
Crafts for Christmas, Gravesend Market
Sunday, November 18
Handmade Christmas gifts, treats, workshops and demonstrations for all the family will be found inside Gravesend's market from 10am until 3pm on Sunday.
Learn how to make paper chains, Christmas fairies, decorate Christmas ornaments or learn about Christmas wreath making all while snapping up unique and unusual presents for friends and family on the Christmas stalls.

Christmas lights switch-on, Royal Victoria Place, Tunbridge Wells
Sunday, November 18
kmfm's Rob Willis is hosting this year's event at the Tunbridge Wells shopping centre, with a range of activities on offer, including a chance to meet the famous cheese-loving duo Wallace and Gromit, see the biggest teddy in town and, of course, the arrival of Santa himself.
He lands in the town from midday, accompanied by panto stars Claire Sweeney and Derek Moran, with his Grotto open to visitors until 4.30pm. The lights will be switched on between noon and 12.30pm.

Aldington Christmas Fair, Aldington Village Hall, Roman Road
Sunday, November 18
Mince pies, a slice of cake and over 30 stalls to keep families entertained can be found at the village's annual festive fair. Christmas gifts, hair and beauty treats, some great raffle prizes and plenty of refreshments will be on offer at the event from 1pm until 4pm.
