Entertainer and Early Learning Centre offer toy discounts and home learning ideas for parents

A much-loved children's toy brand is offering parents big discounts on toys which could make learning easier at home.

Early Learning Centre has also created an online learning hub full of activities, worksheets and game ideas to help parents continue to keep young children occupied during the winter lockdown.

Now owned by The Entertainer, which has branches across Kent, Early Learning Centre has teamed up with educational experts to build an entire database of ideas that are suitable for children of all ages from early years through to Key Stage 2.

Alongside a raft of different worksheets are tips for home learning and suggestions of key areas of development to focus on depending on a child's age.

The information, say those behind it, take into account the limited time parents may have, resources available as well as other lockdown pressures families staying at home are experiencing.

And to help families juggle home learning even further Early Learning Centre is offering 25% off online orders over £20 on a host of products, including already reduced items, that could make learning from home more fun and manageable.

These include learning aids, games and art and craft supplies.

Gary Grant, founder and executive chairman of The Entertainer which owns Early Learning Centre said: “The impact of this third lockdown on children’s learning and development is an extremely worrying time for parents.
