Elf, rated a PG, stars Will Ferrell as Buddy who accidentally got carried back to the North Pole as a baby and was raised among Santa's elves.

But as an adult, realising he doesn't always fit in, he travels to New York in full elf uniform in search of his real family with increasingly chaotic results as he attempts to negotiate the real world away from the sugar and sparkle of the North Pole.

As well as the showing on Sunday, December 8 at 5pm there will be a further screening on Monday, December 16 at 7.30pm. Tickets are available to book now.

Other 'flashback' festivel films being shown at Bluewater in the run up to Christmas include quirky 80s classic Gremlins (rating 12A) on Monday, December 9 and Friday, December 13, White Christmas starring Bing Crosby and Rosemary Clooney on Tuesday, December 10 and Wednesday, December 18 and the The Bishop’s Wife starring Cary Grant and David Niven on Thursday, December 12 and Wednesday, December 17.
