Kent's bluebell walk takes place next month

by Lauren Abbott

Take in the best of Kent's bluebells in a glorious walk next month.

Your family can spend the spring bank holiday walking Kent's famous Bluebell Walk - which is now in its 29th year.

The event takes place this year on Sunday, May 1 and will once again be raising money for the Heart of Kent hospice.

Starting at Harrietsham Village Hall, registration for the six-mile walk opens at 8:30am and runs until 11am.

There is no time limit for the walk, so families are encouraged to take as long as they need to explore and take in the famous carpets of bluebells.

There will also be plenty of photo opportunities along the way - not to mention some tea and cake at the end of the route.

The cost of the walk is £10 adults, £3 for children or £25 for a family of five (two adults and up to three children).
