Make your child's birthday extra special by choosing a party venue they will remember forever. Here's a list of some of the best places to take your kids and their friends in the county...

Bayford Meadows Go Karting

This outdoor race track at Sittingbourne offers a fully supervised 30-minute driving session and use of the whole circuit. Full safety equipment is provided along with basic tuition for drivers of all ages. The birthday boy/girl receives a photo from the day plus a meal in the diner with all of their friends after crossing the finish line.

Beaney House of Art & Knowledge and Canterbury Heritage Museum

Parents can choose from either of the two fun-packed museums in the heart of Canterbury. Party themes range from the curse of the pharaoh to pillaging pirates and Second World War air raid warden training. Parties for younger children can get to grips with creepy crawlies or feature TV favourite Bagpuss and friends.

Bowling

Fun, competitive, weatherproof and you don't need to even turn the oven on - what's not to like? There's two various packages to choose for young children through to teenagers. Most party packages include bowling, mocktail, wristband, food plus a team photo. There's bowling centres at Ashford, Gravesend, Maidstone, Medway and Tunbridge Wells.

Bumble Beez

A fantastic indoor entertainment centre for children of all abilities in Ramsgate. Facilities include a ball pool, slide and climbing feature for babies and toddlers. Juniors can play on an obstacle course, drop slide, four-lane wavy slide, sky gliders, ball pools and use the indoor sports areas with goalposts. Parties include entertainment, drinks, mixed buffet, bite-size sandwiches and a cake ceremony.

How about this unforgettable trip for the kids? The super-fast safari takes you from Dover to Deal and beyond to Pegwell Bay, where you will find a large nature reserve and a ‘secret seal’ colony. Pizza Express

Making a mess is every kid’s idea of a good time and they can do exactly that at a pizza making party! The Pizza Express staff show how it's done before the kids are set loose with the dough and toppings before the pizzas are whisked away to the oven. Packages include party games, unlimited squash, ice cream, a balloon, certificate plus of course the pizza to munch on.

YMCA Maidstone

For kids with too much energy the YMCA could be just the ticket. Trampolining, roller skating, football and even a bouncy castle are all part of the options at the centre at Loose, just outside Maidstone.
