Thousands of free theatre tickets to some of the capital's top West End shows are being made available to families during August.

It offers free free tickets for children to shows including Matilda, Gangsta Granny, toddler friendly What the Ladybird Heard, Thriller Live, the Lion King, Phantom of the Opera and new slapstick sensation The Comedy about a Bank Robbery.

During Kids Week, which runs from August 1 to 31 a child aged 16 or under can go free to any participating show when accompanied by an adult paying full price.

What is more - adults can also purchase up to two extra children’s tickets at half price with no booking, postage or transaction fees.

Alongside the ticket offers is a vast programme of free activities and events from storytelling and backstage theatre tours to choreography and stage combat workshops.
