The X Factor comes to Dreamland Margate

Dreamland is going to be holding the first round of auditions for ITV's talent show The X Factor.

Producers will be at the theme park from 11am until 5.30pm on Monday (March 13) as they scour the country for the next big star in the Ballroom Foyer.

And those who think they have got what it takes to be the next big thing are invited to attend the open auditions.

It will be the second year the show has visited the theme park for the first stage of the process.

Auditions are open to those who will be aged 16 or over on July 1 this year. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Dreamland's programme and event manager Chris Snelson said: "We're really excited to welcome The X Factor back here for a second year.

"Dreamland’s rich history of hosting some of the biggest names in show business makes it the perfect venue to discover new talent!"

The X Factor has seen the likes of One Direction, Little Mix and Olly Murs achieve global success.
