Ward Children's Awards 2016 in Kent

by Emma Grafton-Williams

This year’s Ward Children’s Awards promises to end like every one of the 13 that have gone before – with a great big celebration to announce the winners and cheer their outstanding successes.

Once the nomination and judging process is complete later this year, the finalists and their families will be invited to a special event taking place on Friday, October 14.

Held at the Mercure Maidstone Great Danes Hotel, the celebration lunch is geared solely to ensuring the winners and their families are made to feel truly special and come away having had a brilliant time.

Alongside the lunch and presentation of awards by Good Morning Britain presenter Charlotte Hawkins, there will be fun and games to entertain everyone!

Our photographer will also be on hand to capture all of the magical moments, which are sure to provide some lovely lasting memories for those involved.

The event is a really uplifting and enjoyable occasion for the award winners and their families and often provides a welcome break from the many hospital appointments and treatment commitments they have to manage on a regular basis.

How can I nominate someone?
