Top toys for 2019: London's toy fair unveils its Toy Fair Hero Toys
Inflatable armour, a toddler trike with lights and a board game inspired by the David Walliams' classic Gangsta Granny are amongst 25 toys predicted to be popular this year.
The list of 'Hero Toys' has been unveiled at London's 2019 Toy Fair.
The trade event, which is not open to the general public, announced the much-anticipated list by the British Toy & Hobby Association on Tuesday morning (January 22).
Toy Fair’s Hero Toys represent some of the most innovative and exciting products being launched at the annual event which have also been earmarked as potential best sellers that will be officially released throughout 2019.
Decided by an independent panel of industry judges and the BTHA, the list of toys features something for everyone - from action toys, board games and technology to the latest collectables and toys perfect for pre-school development.
“Toy Fair’s Hero Toys celebrates the most exciting and innovative products launched at Toy Fair,” said Rebecca Deeming, public relations and events manager for the BTHA.
“We’re delighted to bring the showcase back again, as one of the first opportunities to see what could be the year’s most sought-after toys.”
