More details on applying for a place at Ebbsfleet Green Primary School near Swanscombe at Christmas Party
Families interested in sending their children to a new primary school in Kent are being invited to a Christmas party.
Ebbsfleet Green Primary is hosting a celebration for families between 2pm and 7pm on Tuesday (December 17).
The school, which is part of the Maritime Academy Trust, is set to open in September 2020.
Tuesday's event will be hosted by the north Kent school's newly appointed head teacher Joanne Wilkinson-Tabi and will take place outside the Ebbsfleet Quarter sales office in Ackers Drive, Ebbsfleet Valley.
The Christmas party is being held on a double decker bus with soft play areas, slides and a ball pit all to entertain the children.
There will also be mince pies, hot chocolate and gifts for youngsters in the form of festive storybooks which have been supplied by the school.
Parents, whilst children are playing, will have a chance to find out more about Ebbsfleet primary, the application process for securing a place and what is described as its 'innovative entrepreneurial curriculum'.
The school, according the Maritime Academy Trust, will start as a one-form entry school, growing to a two-form entry school as the numbers of pupils in the area increases with the building of new homes.
Joanne Wilkinson-Tabi said, “I’m very much looking forward to the Christmas Party and delighted to have the opportunity to get to know the Ebbsfleet community, particularly prospective parents and pupils, and to celebrate the festive season together.
