The event in December will include quieter music, low lighting and smaller group sizes to help reduce sensory overload and create an experience that is accessible for all youngsters.

Kent Life general manager Natalie Cox: "We all get caught up in the hubbub of the festive season and don't always appreciate how much of a challenge it can be for children with additional needs. "At Kent Life, we see what a wonderful effect our farm animals have on certain children and wanted to create a similar sense of well-being at our popular Christmas Experience."

Father Christmas arrives at the working farm and visitor attraction in Sandling on Saturday, November 30 and will be available to meet children and their families on December 1, December 7 and 8, December 14 and 15 and then every day from Friday, December 20 until Christmas Eve. A family ticket for non members is £36.95.
